When Satake said he was glad Tachibana was suffering that had me questioning him but when you think about it, if he is suffering it just means that the level of training is harder and that he will eventually become stronger because of it. But it took me off guard at first, I thought he was happy about Tachibana's suffering because Tachibana left Musashino lol.

It's nice to see how much Musashino members miss and speak well of Tachibana, I hope hearing that from Kaneko might have given him some mental assurance and now that he's still been placed to play in the line-up even after requesting to not be played, he will see more value in himself. I do agree he shouldn't compare himself to Yoshitsune and Kaneda and I can't wait to see how his own strength helps the team.

Kaneda might be playing well for Musashino, but damn it's a good thing Fukuda didn't allow him to join Esperion. His personality is terrible lol. And I look forward to seeing him eat his words against Esperion although I'm sure it won't be easy for them. I was getting concerned when Tachibana, Ashito and Kaneda were all getting riled up, I thought they would get themselves in trouble for fighting so thank goodness the others were there to hold them back.

I do agree with you but the one part of his character personality I dislike is his jealousy of potential partners as It's a bad character trait to have in general. I will mention that I do find his reactions and how he behaves amusing because he behaves like an ass like in today's episode when he was patting Ashito on the head while laughing at him.

Musashino's tactics: pressing vs low block

High pressing counter attacking football instead of a low block. Musashino opted to play bold football.

Where a low block is when the whole team sits on the edge of their own penalty box with the main priority being to "to protect the space/defending the space close to goal", winning the ball comes 2nd on the priority list.

Since the defending team is sitting deep in their own half, the attacking team pushes up. Now both the attacking & defending teams are in one half so naturally there is "space" left behind.

That "space" is left behind by the attacking team and if the defending team wins the ball, they can set up a counter attack.

So the team in a low block are set to go on a counter-attack, however because players drop very deep in a low block, the distance the team has to travel to the opponents' goal following a regain in possession is quite big. This gives the attacking team to recover and sometimes resulting in the failure of the counter attack.

But imagine if the team wins possession of the ball on the half line or above, now the distance or cover in a counter attack is significantly shortened and naturally goal scoring opportunities goes up.

This is why Musashino's high pressing counter attacking football leads to more goal scoring opportunities.

Also this kind of football is exciting, NOT boring like a low block. No wonder teams that play with a low block and win are labelled as merchants of "anti-football" lmao. Prime example being the lord Sean Dyche at Burnley, Diego Simeone at Atletico.

Ah well now the problem with a football playing style like Musashino's is you need players that are willing to run for their lives.

You need the whole team working as a unit, coordinating with & between the pressing along with the most important thing playing with a "fighting spirit".
